For balconies, artificial grass with a shorter pile is usually the best way to go. Artificial grass on a balcony will be seen almost exclusively from above, so the extra depth of longer pile heights isn’t really necessary in this application. A firmer density is also favourable, again because you’ll be looking down at the grass from above – it’ll look better when densely packed together.
